Asus Zenfone 3 The Asus Zenfone 3 comes equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD (ZE552KL)/5.2-inch (ZE520KL) display and will draw the power from Snapdragon 625. On the imaging front, the smartphone touts a 16-Megapixel Sony IMX298 sensor accompanied with PDAF, dual-Tone LED flash, and 4-Axis stabilisation. The secondary camera unit is an 8-Megapixel sensor with 85-degree wide view. Apart from that, the camera app is also studded with the usual bevy of camera filters and features. The 5.2-inch display variant will come with a 3GB/32GB onboard storage while the slightly larger 5.5-inch variant will feature 4GB RAM/64GB of onboard storage. The Zenfone 3 also comes with a fingerprint sensor, a feature that will help it keep pace with the competitors. Asus has also fitted an NXP smart amp Hi-Res Audio to amplify its headphone output. The storage options include 32GB/64GB of onboard memory along with a hybrid SIM slot that can accommodate a memory card as well. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe is top of the line offering in the Zenfone 3 series and it does come packed to the brim with latest hardware and features. First things first, the refreshed design of the Zenfone 3 looks stunning and unlike its predecessor, it looks naturally premium. The metal accents and the flattened out look further enhance the design lines. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe has a 5.7-inch FHD Super AMOLED display on the offer and it also boasts of a screen-to-body ratio of 79%. Powering the Zenfone 3 Deluxe is the Snapdragon 821 paired with a 6GB of RAM, however, Asus has also decided to offer a Snapdragon 820 variant. This also makes the Zenfone 3 Deluxe the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 821. On the storage front, the device offers up to a whopping 256GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage. Asus has also improvised greatly on the imaging front and the Zenfone 3 now comes with a 23-Megapixel primary sensor with 4-axis OIS, Tritech laser autofocus technology, and a sapphire glass cover. The secondary snapper is an 8-Megapixel sensor with 84-degree wide view. On the connectivity front, the device offers Cat 13 LTE triband carrier, USB 3.0 and also Quick charge 3.0. The device is backed by a 3000mAh battery pack and supports Quickcharging 3.0. Priced at Rs 49,999 (although the Snapdragon 821/6GB/256GB is priced much higher at Rs 63,000) the Zenfone 3 Deluxe doesn’t come cheap and price wise can be directly equated with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S7 and the recently launched Galaxy Note 7. Asus Zenfone 3 Laser The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser on the other hands touts a 13 Megapixel f/2.0 Sony IMX214 sensor rear camera which is further boosted by a 2nd gen Laser Autofocus sensor, dual tone LED flash and 3 axis EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation). Asus claims a focusing time of around 0.03 seconds, thereby making it faster than its predecessor. The rest of the specifications include a 5.5 inch HD display, Snapdragon 430 octa-core chip with Adreno 505 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage. The Zenfone 3 Laser too comes with a memory expansion slot, Fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. The Zenfone 3 Ultra is set to appease the buyers who want a large screen experience on their smartphones without actually compromising much on the hardware front. Equipped with 6.8-inch FHD display the Zenfone 3 Ultra comes powered by the Snapdragon 652 alongside a 4GB RAM. The audio setup consists of dual speakers at the bottom along with a DTS headphone. Juicing up the gigantic 6.8-inch display is the 4,600mAh battery pack that can also be used as a powerbank with the reverse charging support. Internal storage is pegged at 64GB and the Ultra borrows the 23-Megapixel camera unit from the Zenfone 3 Deluxe. The Zenfone 3 Ultra is Asus answer to the Mi Max and other large phablets battling out in the market. The Zenfone 3 Ultra attracts a price tag of Rs 49,999, which is identical to the Zenfone 3 Deluxe.
