The rumor mills claim that Nokia Flagship will employ a large circular disk to house the camera lens unit much like the yesteryear’s Nokia Lumia 1020. Apparently, it will have five holes for the lens and another opening for the flash unit. It’s also quite possible that Nokia might incorporate the rotating lens technology, for which a patent has already been filed. The Miniature zoom camera from the Zeiss includes a mechanism wherein multiple lenses can be rotated and thus will help in changing the focal length and also offer a much larger zoom range.
That being said, the phone may not make it to the upcoming MWC and its likely to enter production only during April-May. The source/tipster has also leaked a sketch that shows the lens arrangements on the upcoming Nokia flagship. The sensors are placed in a circular fashion with the LED flash module at the center. Meanwhile, the phone will feature an 18:9 display along with a double glass layer (both front and back). The rumors also speculate the use of Snapdragon 845 on all the Nokia premium devices.
