Galaxy S10 Design

The Galaxy S10 sports a 6.1-inch Quad HD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED with a 19:9 aspect ratio, coming in at a pixel density of 550ppi. For protection, the display comes with a Gorilla Glass 6 protection that prevents it from scuffs and scratches. The S10 is offered in four different colours: Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Blue, and Flamingo Pink.

Under the hood, the S10 is powered by either the Samsung’s Exynos 9820 chipset (in Europe) or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (in Asia, USA), 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 512GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB using microSD). Apart from that, the S10 comes with IP68 dust and water resistance and AKG-tuned speakers to provide a crisp and high-quality output sound. With the new S10 series, Samsung has also hopped on to the bandwagon, like most of the other smartphone manufacturers and adopted the USB Type-C for better connectivity and increased transfer and charging speeds. Additionally, it has also included the reverse-wireless charging capabilities to the S10 series, which can be used to charge other devices that support wireless charging. Although most smartphone manufacturers have ditched the headphone jack a long time back, Samsung refrains itself from doing so, and resorts with retaining the 3.5mm headphone jack on the S10 series.

In terms of optics, the S10 features a triple camera setup on the rear with a 12MP wide sensor with f/2.4, a 12MP telephoto sensor with f/1.5, and a 16MP ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2. For selfies, the top-right corner of the display has a punch hole, that encapsulates a 10MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture that comes with dual-pixel autofocus, OIS, and 4K video shooting capabilities. The S10 comes with a 3400mAh battery, which is something that a lot of the customers would not be happy with, especially when compared to some of the other smartphone manufacturers which are going overboard with battery capacities of up to 4000mAh.

The Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e will be available in four colours: Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Blue, and Flamingo Pink. Additionally, the S10+ model will also be available in the Ceramic White and Ceramic Black colour. According to Samsung, the pricing starts at $899 for the S10, $999 for the S10+, and $749 for the S10e model. And the pre-ordering begins February 21, with customers ordering the device between February 21 and March 7 standing a chance to receive free Galaxy Buds, priced at $129.
